Greene County Solid Waste Office at 795 Hal Henard Road. HOURS:
- Monday and Tuesday: 6am-1:30pm
- Wednesday–Friday: 6am-12pm
- Used tires are collected at this site on Monday and Wednesday Only by appointment. The cost to dispose of used tires is 130.00 per ton.
- Dumpster rentals are only available to Businesses. The rental Fee is $22.50 per month and there is a $27.50 charge each time the dumpster is emptied.
- There is also a $20.00 dumpster drop fee for new businesses.
The Greene County Solid Waste Department now has a recycle textile container at the following convenience centers: Afton, Baileyton, Hal Henard, Horse Creek, South Greene, and West Greene. The community can place used clothing, linens, shoes, belts and purses in these containers. This will contribute to an increase to our county’s percentage of recycling and prevent additional materials from being added to the landfill. As community participation increases, additional containers will be added at other convenience center locations.
